The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is a collaborative platform bringing together governments, civil society, international organizations, teachers, foundations, and the private sector. Together, they support developing countries to access financial and technical resources, alongside global and local expertise, ensuring every child has access to a quality basic education, especially the poorest, the most vulnerable, and those living in countries affected by conflict, fragility, or climate emergencies.
GPE grants focus on promoting girls’ education, strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy, and improving teacher effectiveness. Since its establishment in 2002, GPE and its partners have made significant progress, helping millions of children enrol and stay in school to receive a quality education.
